
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer with strong skills in 3D CAD modeling to join our team. This role offers a mix of technical office responsibilities and on-site project support, providing an ideal opportunity for learning and professional development in mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Office Duties:
Create and review detailed mechanical designs, including 3D models, using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor).
Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and mechanical layouts based on project requirements.
Perform material take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQs).
Assist in the preparation of technical submittals, project schedules, and progress reports.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Review project documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements, codes, and standards.
Provide technical support to resolve design or documentation-related queries.
Site Responsibilities:
Conduct occasional site visits to monitor the implementation of mechanical systems in line with technical drawings.
Assist with on-site troubleshooting and provide clarifications to the site team.
Support site inspections and prepare site activity reports.
Collaborate with project engineers and contractors to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in technical office or mechanical engineering roles.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD 3D, or similar).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods.
Familiarity with technical standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ISO, or equivalent).
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of piping, or mechanical equipment design is an advantage.
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
Previous internship or work experience in a similar role is a plus.
Work Environment:
This role involves a combination of office-based design and documentation tasks, complemented by occasional fieldwork to provide a well-rounded engineering experience.
